- The codification of syllabus policy does not prevent faculty from adjusting their syllabus to respond to unplanned class needs arising from weather, power outages, or other circumstances that affect the entire class (Senate policy 45-00).
- Modifications to the initial syllabus must be distributed to students in a timely manner in written (paper or electronic) form.
